This
month's Jungle Juke Box is again submitted by Skipper Grant,
Tour of Duty '92-'95 Disneyland. Not so coincedentally, he is also our Feature Interview
this month. Although this tune only mentions Jungle in passing, I thought
it worthy of your attention.

"Big Thunder"
Sung to the tune of Men At Work's "Down Under"
New lyrics by Grant Baciocco
Traveling in the Jungle one day,
Minding my own business not much to say,
I met a strange lady,
At the shipping office,
She looked at me and made me nervous. She
said,
"Do you know, do you know Big Thunder?
Are you trained there I wonder?
Can you work, can you work Big Thunder?
If you can't, I have to find another."
Cornered by a man in Splash clothes,
He was in the break room eating Ho-Ho's,
I said, "Can I help you there buddy?"
He just smiled, and gave me a really big noogie.
And he said,
"Do you know, do you know Big Thunder?
Are you trained there I wonder?
Can you work, can you work Big Thunder?
If you can't, I have to find another."

Up in the office one day,
I saw Joe, I looked and said, "Hey!"
I said to him, "Man are you going to train me?"
So I can get me hours a pleanty.
And he said,
"Ohhhhh!! Do you know, do you know Big Thunder?
Are you trained there I wonder?
Can you work, can you work Big Thunder?
If you can't, I get you a trainer.
(Repeat and Fade)
Special thanks again to Skipper Grant! If you
remember any songs like this, or if you are imaginative enough to come up with a new one, let us know! Please!!!! |
